Abstract
The Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia Inc (AHC SA) is both the peak advisory body to the South Australian Minister of Health on Aboriginal health issues, and a service provider of state-wide Aboriginal primary health care, health promotion programs and community health services. The Council works in a tripartite partnership with the Sate and Commonwealth Governments in joint program and service planning, monitoring and evaluating across all health sectors in South Australia. The task of the AHC SA is 'to rectify Aboriginal disadvantage in health service access and health outcomes'.
