Abstract

South Australia has an ageing population with growing health care needs, the impact of which is an increasing pressure on the health system and health workforce. The GP Plus Health Networks (the Network) will play a key role within the regions in advising on future investment into health care to meet population health needs through the development of Health Improvement Plans. This document outlines a framework to support a consistent approach for the development of Health Improvement Plans across South Australia.
